Our Purpose;

To help restore and protect the environmental, aesthetic and recreational quality of Lake Winthrop for the current and future enjoyment of the community. This will be achieved by

  • speaking for the lake with consideration for all stakeholders through active community engagement

  • seeking donations from the public, leveraging our 501(c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit status and seeking grants

  • using these funds to build awareness and educate the public to act on agreed restorative and preservative solutions

  • being solely dedicated to this purpose

About Lake Winthrop

Lake Winthrop is a 137-acre Great Pond located in Holliston, MA, about half a mile south of Holliston Center. It's known for having an average depth of 6 feet and a maximum depth of 24 feet. The lake is stocked annually in the spring with Trout and has produced Largemouth Bass and Chain Pickerel. Stoddard Park on the lakefront offers a swimming area with a beach, playground, and picnic facilities.
